The MEGTEC Zero Speed Butt Splicer is an automatic rewinder without any mechanical connection to the printing press. Designed with cost and flexibility in mind, the splicer can handle a range of materials.
The butt splicer handles speeds up to 500 fpm (150 m/m) and web widths up to 14"" (350 mm). Preparation of the web is for a single or double-sided splice.
