Health & Welfare
Medical Plans
MEGTEC offers two health care options to choose from that cover medical and prescription expenses. Both plans include coverage for preventive care. Employees may also receive discounted rates when choosing in-network providers.
Dental Plan
MEGTEC offers a dental plan that includes preventive care as well as orthodontic services for eligible dependents.
Employee Assistance Program
The Employee Assistance Program is a confidential short-term counseling and referral service that can help employees and their families successfully deal with life’s challenges.
Flexible Spending Account
The flexible spending account enables employees to pay their day care expenses or non-reimbursable medical expenses with before tax dollars. Employees may elect to have funds deducted from their payroll on a before tax basis and deposited into either a dependent care or health care account. When employees incur eligible expenses, they may apply for reimbursement from these accounts.
Pay Continuation Plan
MEGTEC’s Pay Continuation Plan provides employees with a limited, continued source of income when away from work due to their own illness or injury.
Long Term Disability Insurance
MEGTEC’s Long Term Disability program provides monthly benefits after an employee has been disabled for 180 days and is under a doctor’s care and submits proof of disability.
Basic Life, AD&D, and Dependent Life Insurance
MEGTEC pays for insurance in the amount equal to an employee’s annual base salary for Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment coverage. MEGTEC also pays for a limited life insurance policy for dependent spouses and eligible dependent children.
Optional Life and AD&D Insurance
Employees may purchase additional life insurance in amounts up to 5 times their annual base salary at low group rates with MEGTEC’s optional life insurance benefit.
Employees may also purchase additional AD&D insurance for yourself and eligible dependents.
Business Travel Accident Life Insurance
MEGTEC provides additional life insurance coverage in an amount equal to 10 times an employee’s annual base salary to compensate for death or dismemberment which may be experienced while on company authorized travel.
Wellness Program
MEGTEC believes that a healthy workforce is the key to a healthy business. As a result, we have established a Wellness Incentive Program that helps employees identify their health risks and assist them in making positive lifestyle changes. Employees may earn incentive payments and discounted health insurance premiums by participating in this program
Retirement Savings
401(k) Plan
MEGTEC offers a 401(k) plan through which employees can save between 1% and 40% of their gross pay through payroll deduction on a before tax basis. The plan includes a company matching provision.

Educational Assistance Program
MEGTEC encourages its employees to continue their education by attending seminars and taking courses through an accredited institution of higher learning. The Company will pay for business related seminars, and reimburse for class expenses according to the Educational Reimbursement Policy.
