Offline Finishing

Using preprinted rolls in a separate offline finishing line will improve production quality, flexibility, as well as the output. The rolls are produced in a printing press with optimum performance and a minimum of set-up time, whether it's used on a high-speed commercial press or a narrow-web business forms press.

By using a MEGTEC automatic rewinder, the production can be done non-stop throughout the job. No stopping time for roll change is required. The pre-printed roll will then be used in the finishing line. By using a MEGTEC Register Splicer the line could continuously be fed with paper and when splicing to a new roll, waste in the line is kept to a minimum due to the register system. A modern, modular off-line finishing system enables the printer to make flexible and complex products with or without personalization.
