In some applications, the web will be rewound at the end of the process. Here MEGTEC offers automatic rewinding and slitting systems including roll handling.

	Rewinders The MEGTEC automatic rewinder handles web widths from 14 inches (350 mm) up to large rewinders made for widths well over 40 inches (1000 mm). Depending on the model, the web speed could be up to 2,450 fpm (750 m/min).
	Butt Splicers The MEGTEC Zero Speed Butt Splicer is an automatic rewinder without any mechanical connection to the printing press. Designed with cost and flexibility in mind, the splicer can handle a range of materials at speeds up to 500 fpm (150 m/m) and web widths up to 14"" (350 mm).
	Register Splicers MEGTEC has state-of-the-art register splicing systems that fit any web press designed to deliver the high splice success.
	Converting & Doctoring Machines MEGTEC has developed a doctoring line including an unwinder, a special doctoring table, and a rewinder. This line enables the producer to take out the waste from the rolls and deliver only high quality rolls.
